Omo-Agege emerges Deputy Senate President with 68 votes

Senator representing Delta Central, Ovie Omo-Agege has emerged as Deputy senate president for the 9th National Assembly. Omo-Agege polled a total of 68 votes to defeat former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 37 votes. The election of Omo-Agege followed that of election of Ahmad Lawan as the President of the 9th Senate
